Isn't it beautiful when something purchased on a whim turns out to be amazing?
Despite having heard a lot of nice things about the latest Bourjois release, I was still on the fence about these beauties - I wasn't sure I could fit another cream blush in my stash to be completely honest - but when Asos put them on offer I knew it was time to take a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did. It turned out not only I did need one of these blushes in my life but actually I needed them all. Oh so naughty.

The Bourjois Little Round Pot Cream Blushes (£7.99) are a dream to work with: they blend so well, go on really nicely and are easily buildable for statement looks. The cream-to-powder finish reminds me of the NARS formula, only the texture here is creamier and less thick and for that so much easier to apply. The beautiful skin-like finish is extremely natural and flattering and the lasting power is really good, but most products tend to last a long time on me anyways, so I might not be the best judge in this case. They're best applied with a buffing brush or a blender sponge, but fingers will do all the same.
They're available in 4 pretty shades but I hope the range will include some brights in the future as well. Keep in mind I am as pale as living things can go and while these blushes look lovely on my porcelain skin they might get lost on deeper complexions.
Healthy Glow 02 is probably the most popular shade and the first one I picked. Is a pale coral that would suit most skin tones and as the name suggests gives a natural, healthy glow to the skin. Bonne mine look enthusiasts like me will love Nude Velvet 01 as much as I do: it's the most perfect nude blush with just the right amount of pink but verging slightly on the peach side. It's simple but so pretty nonetheless.
I usually stay clear of pale pinks as, save for a few exceptions, they tend to look a bit artificial on me and bring out the redness in my skin, however Rose Tender 03 is a great pick-me up pink, fresh and so cheering. It's a touch shimmery in the pan but the silver sparkles are pretty much undetectable on the cheeks.
Last but not least Sweet Cherry 04 is a medium reddish pink with a hint of plum, which provides a lovely Snow white flush. It might actually be my favourite of the bunch and I can tell is going to be a staple of mine for the cooler months to come.

Bourjois is quickly becoming one of the most exciting brands on the market, don't you think? Have you tried these blushes? What's your favourite shade?

Non è bellissimo quando un prodotto comprato d'impulso si dimostra fantastico?
Nonostante avessi già letto alcuni commenti positivi sull'ultima proposta Bourjois, ero ancora in dubbio sull'acquisto - il mio primo problema riguardava il mio cassetto strabordante di blush ed il dubbio che potesse contenerne ancora - ma quando Asos li ha messi in saldo ho deciso di buttarmi e sono felicissima di averlo fatto. Non solo ho scoperto che avevo davvero bisogno di uno di questi blush nella mia vita, ma che in realtà mi servivano tutti. Sono pessima.

I Bourjois Little Round Pot Cream Blushes (€10.40) sono un sogno da applicare: si sfumano bene, si applicano facilmente ed è possibile intensificare il colore per un effetto deciso. Il finish cream-to-powder mi ricorda quello dei blush in crema di NARS, ma la texture è più cremosa e meno densa e per questo si sfumano molto più facilmente. L'aspetto finale è molto naturale, come pelle, e la durata è ottima, ma tenete presente che su di me quasi tutti i prodotti hanno una buona durata, per cui potrei non essere il miglior giudice in questo senso. Trovo che un pennello denso per il fondotinta o una spugna blender siano gli strumenti migliori per applicarli, ma anche le dita permettono di ottenere ottimi risultati.
Al momento sono disponibili in quattro colori; un po' pochini, è vero, ma spero che presto il range verrà arricchito da altre tonalità più accese. Tenete in mente che sono color obitorio, per cui sebbene questi blush si adattino perfettamente al mio incarnato di porcellana, potrebbero risultare pressochè invisibili sulle carnagioni più scure.
Healthy Glow 02 è forse la tonalità più popolare, la prima che ho comprato e nonchè la causa degli acquisti successivi. E' un corallo chiaro piuttosto universale, che, come suggerisce il nome, dona un colorito salutare e radioso alle guance. Le fan del look bonne mine senz'altro ameranno Nude Velvet 01 almeno quanto me: è il blush nude per eccezione, con un tocco di rosa ma leggeramente tendente al pesca. E' semplice ma non per questo meno grazioso.
Di solito cerco di stare alla larga dai blush rosa chiari perchè, salvo rare eccezioni, sembrano molto artificiali su di me e  tendono ad accentuare i rossori tipici delle pelli più chiare; Rose Tender 03 invece è un favoloso rosa 'tiramisù', fresco ed allegro. La calda è lievemente perlata ma l'iridescenza argentata si nota appena sulle guance.
Ultimo ma non meno importante Sweet Cherry 04, un rosa-rosso medio con una punta di prugna, perfetto per guance da Biancaneve. Credo proprio che sia quello che preferisco dei 4 e so già che avrà un posto fisso nella mia makeup bag per la stagione fredda in arrivo.

Bourjois sta diventando uno dei marchi più interessanti sul mercato, non vi pare? Avete provato questi blush? Qual è il vostro preferito?

Budget Buy: Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder £3.99/€11.90

I don't usually indulge in drugstore makeup, mostly because here in Italy it tends to be quite overpriced, but from time to time curiosity gets the upper hand and I end up throwing a couple of products in my cart, for science purposes of course.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is an oil-controlling mattifying powder that promises up to 5 hours of shine control. I'd say it lasts about 4 before it needs a touch-up but it doesn't look cakey when layered with a light hand. It does a decent job at keeping the skin matte with a velvet finish that doesn't look too powdery. It tends to cling to dry patches a bit so be sure to apply it only on the oily areas.

Generally I would have gone for the Transparent shade because I don't like to add extra color to my base but I bought it on a whim in the queque at the supermarket a long time ago and at the time I didn't noticed it came in different shades. I grabbed the first light one I laid my eyes on and I'm so glad I did since apparently Transparent in this case means pretty much white and I wouldn't want too look paler than I am, thank you very much. Shade 003 Peach Glow is not really colored but it has a soft brightening effect due to the peachy undertone and helps to conceal redness as well so it's a good shade.

You can tell is well loved 'cause I've already hit pan on this one. It's not the best powder out there but it does its job well enough for such a small price. The packaging could be a lot better to be honest. The lid comes off way too easily and the whole thing feels too flimsy to simply throw in the purse for touch ups, but I guess Rimmel had to cut the budget somewhere and I'd rather have a nice powder in a cheap packaging than the other way around.

Di norma non mi concedo molti acquisti nel reparto cosmetico del supermercato, più che altro perchè qui da noi queste marche che dovrebbero essere economiche tendono ad avere prezzi davvero eccessivi per i miei gusti. Ogni tanto però la curiosità prende il sopravvento ed uno o due prodotti finiscono nel carrello, per scopi puramente scientifici ovviamente

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder è una cipria opacizzante che promette fino a 5 ore di effetto anti lucido. Direi che dura più o meno 4 ore prima che abbia bisogno di essere ritoccata ma non ha un effetto polveroso quando viene stratificata con mano leggera. Fa un discreto lavoro nel controllare gli oli ed ha un finish vellutato ma naturale. Tende ad evidenziare pellicine ed aree secche, per cui assicuratevi di applicarla solo dove serve.

Di solito avrei scelto la tonalità 001 Transparent perchè non mi piace aggiungere colore alla base, ma è stato un acquisto d'impulso e non mi sono soffermata controllare le tonalità. Ho afferrato la prima colorazione chiara su cui mi è caduto l'occhio, e pare che sia stata molto fortunata perchè in questo caso la cipria trasparente sembrerebbe proprio bianca, e non vorrei proprio sembrare più pallida di quello che già sono, grazie tante. 003 Peach Glow non aggiunge molto colore ma grazie al tono pescato ha un leggero effetto illuminante e contrasta anche il rossore per cui è una buona tonalità per chi ha la pelle chiara.

Come vedete l'ho usata parecchio perchè ho già toccato il pan metallico. Non è la cipria migliore sul mercato ma adempie discretamente al suo compito per un prezzo abbastanza piccolo. Il packaging potrebbe essere migliorato tantissimo, visto che il coperchio si solleva molto facilmente e non è ideale da tenere in borsa per eventuali ritocchi. D'altro canto capisco che Rimmel abbia dovuto tagliare i costi da qualche parte e preferisco una buona cipria in un packaging di scarsa qualità alla situazione opposta.

L'avete provata? Avete qualche raccomandazione per quanto riguarda prodotti drugstore?

Piccola nota a margine: per quanto mi riguarda non ricomprerei mai una polvere del genere per €11.90, più che altro perchè il packaging non è all'altezza - e per dirne una KIKO allo stesso prezzo offre un simil MSF di MAC in un compact solido e con specchietto -. Però, e c'è un però, l'acquisterei senza problemi su Feelunique, dove è in vendita a €5 che è un prezzo molto più adeguato per un prodotto da supermercato.

Budget buy: L'Oreal Nude magique CC cream anti-redness

L’Oreal Color Correcting creams offer the same skincare benefits of a bb cream in addition to extra tone correcting powers to even out the skin tone and counteract complexion issues. They come in 3 shades: green to neutralize redness, peach for an anti-fatigue effect and lilac to correct dull skin tones.
I tried the anti-redness* one, because even if I don't have huge skin issues such as rosacea or iper-pigmentation, I'm very pale and pinkness and fair skin tones tend to go arm in arm. The mint green cream looks quite scary at first but it blends seamlessly into the skin with a demi-matte finish and a strong yellow undertone. The coverage is very light. It reminds me of a matte version of the Estee Lauder Day wear sheer tint because it adds color without hiding much. A couple of layers are enough coverage for my chilling-at-home days and quick errands but the coverage is lighter than what I’m comfortable with. Although I do recon it works well underneath foundations as a primer because it feels nice and smooth, it doesn't have enough lasting power on its own to make the foundation last all day.

It might be because I don’t have much redness to neutralize, but I can't say this is a groundbreaking product. It covers redness just like any other yellow-based tinted moisturizer I own but with less coverage and an opaque finish.
There’s still a lot of room for improvement. For instance spf12 is too low, especially for a product that should be worn alone. The one-shade-fits-all policy is one of the things that never convinced me about bb creams and my experience with this product confirmed my suspicions: it’s too dark for my fair skin and it’s probably going to be too light for deeper skin tones but it should work well for light to medium complexions.

I wasn't sold on the whole bb cream thing before and if possible I'm even more dubious now. I was hoping this could be a drugstore dupe for the far more expensive MUFE green HD primer, but the search is still open.

Le CC creams di L'oreal offrono gli stessi benefici di una bb cream con in più un effetto correttivo  per uniformare il colorito e contrastare problemi di pigmentazione. Sono disponibili in 3 varianti: verde per neutralizzare i rossori, pesca per un effetto illuminante ed anti-stanchezza, e lilla per combattere il colorito spento.
Io ho provato l'anti-rossore* perchè, anche se non ho problemi seri come rosacea o iper-pigmentazione, sono molto pallida e di solito pallore ed arrossamenti vanno a braccetto. La crema verde menta fa un po' paura di primo acchito ma a contatto con la pelle il pigmento si trasforma e si sfuma perfettamente con l'incarnato, donando alla pelle un finish semi opaco con uno spiccato sottotono giallo.
La coprenza è molto leggera. Mi ricorda il Day wear sheer tint di Estee Lauder che dona un colorito sano più che coprire le imperfezioni. E' perfetto per quei giorni in cui resto a casa in attesa del postino o faccio due commissioni veloci, ma in generale la coprenza è troppo bassa per i miei gusti e non mi sentirei a mio agio ad uscire indossando solo questo prodotto. Funziona discretamente come primer sotto al fondotinta, perchè ha un effetto lisciante ed uniformante, ma non dura abbastanza di per sè per prolungare la durata della base.

Potrebbe dipendere dal fatto che io non abbia rossori importanti da correggere, ma non mi sembra un prodotto particolarmente degno di nota. Copre gli arrossamenti come una qualunque crema colorata con sottotono giallo che possiedo, ma con coprenza inferiore ed una finitura opaca.
C'è molto spazio per i miglioramenti, primo tra tutti il fattore di protezione solare spf12 che è un po' bassino, soprattutto per un prodotto che dovrebbe essere indossato da solo. Inoltre la questione della colorazione unica per tutti non mi ha mai convinta nel caso delle bb cream ed in questa occasione i miei sospetti sono stati confermati: è troppo scura per il mio incarnato pallido e probabilmente si dimostrerà troppo chiara per le carnagioni più scure, ma non dovrebbe creare problemi alle pelli chiare e medie.

L'intera faccenda bb cream non mi convinceva prima ed ora se possibile sono ancora più confusa. Speravo che questa cc cream potesse essere la risposta low-cost al molto più costoso primer verde HD di MUFE, ma la ricerca continua.

Sleek Blush by 3 in Pumpkin review & swatches

As I said in the previous post, the Lace palette was the first one to catch my attention but I think I may like Pumpkin better. It’s the perfect Spring/summer palette and I feel the colors diverge from the usual combinations, the shade mishmash a little more unusual.

With this combo you get Lantern – is a red orange with gold shimmer -, Squash – a slightly warm-toned bright pink - and P pie – a matte orange -. While P pie is definitely opaque, Squash has a gorgeous satin finish and Lantern has a soft shimmer but is not as metallic as Guipure from the Lace palette. They are all very pigmented but Squash coloring is almost insane.

As for Lace, a couple of shades remind of previously releases: Squash is similar to Flamingo from the permanent collection, while P pie is quite close to Aruba from the limited edition Caribbean collection. Lantern is an original shade.

Texture wise, P pie is perfect, soft and smooth. Squash can be a little powdery especially if you press your finger or your brush into the powder a little too enthusiastically. Lantern is still very soft but it looks and feels a little crumbly at the touch; anyways it blends seamlessly on the skin like the others, without fall outs.

These 3 shades also remind me of the mineralize blushes that came out in February with the Naturally collection by MAC: the shades are quite similar, even if P pie is less yellow toned than Fresh honey and is therefore more wearable for fair skin tones.

The packaging is the usual smooth black compact with a decent size mirror. Each blush is 6.5g more or less. Permanent single blushes are 8g each and retail for 7€/5£ apiece. Once again a bargain, with very good quality for value.

Which one do you prefer, Lace or Pumpkin?

Come dicevo nella precedente review, Lace è il blush trio che per primo ha attirato la mia attenzione, ma credo che Pumpkin possa piacermi ancora di più. E’ la palette perfetta per la Primavera/Estate ed i colori divergono dalle tipiche combinazioni, il mix più diverso dal solito.

Di questo trio fanno parte Lantern – un rosso-arancio con iridescenza dorata -, Squash – un rosa brillante con sottotoni caldi - e P pie – un arancio opaco -. Mentre P pie è decisamente matte, Squash ha un grazioso finish satinato e in Lantern troviamo una luminosità perlata più che l’effetto metallico visto con Guipure della palette Lace. Sono tutti estremamente pigmentati, ma la scrivenza di Squash è quasi incredibile.

Come accadeva con il trio di Lace, due tonalità ricordano blush già visti in precedenza: Squash somiglia a Flamingo della collezione permanente, mentre P pie si avvicina ad Aruba, parte della collezione ad edizione limitata Caribbean. Lantern è inedito.

Parlando della texture, P pie è perfetto, la polvere morbida e liscia. Squash si rivela un po’ polveroso, specialmente quando si premono il dito oppure il pennello sulla polvere con un po’ troppo entusiasmo. Lantern è sì morbido, ma sembra quasi friabile al tatto, anche se durante l’applicazione si sfuma bene quanto gli altri, senza fall outs.

Queste 3 tonalità mi ricordano tra l’altro i blush minerali della collezione Naturally di MAC uscita a Febbraio: i colori sono piuttosto simili, anche se P pie è meno giallo di Fresh honey e di conseguenza più adatto alle pelli più chiare.

Per quanto riguarda il packaging si tratta del solito compact di platica nera, leggermente satinata, con uno specchio di dimensioni decenti. Ogni cialda contiene più o meno 6.5g. I blush singoli della collezione permanente contengono 8g di polvere ciascuno e costano 7€ al pezzo. Di nuovo un vero affare, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Sleek makeup isn’t new to the beauty community - we all know them for the amazing quality of their eyeshadow palettes and the little prices – and when a brand has to live up to such a reputation it can be hard to put on the market something as successful as the product that made you famous. It would be easier to just sit there and grind out thousand of palettes that at the end of the day all look the same. Instead Sleek created something new, smart and exciting for this spring, and you’ll see why I’m so thrilled.

The Blush by 3 palettes are the latest addition to the Sleek family: 5 blush palettes with 3 original shades each – with a combination of matte and shimmer shades -. Certain shades remind of some limited edition blushes we saw in the past collections, so if you missed out the previous releases this is your chance to grab some amazing colors.
Lace is all about soft pinkish corals; Pink Sprint contains fuchsia and purples; Sugar covers the browns and plums; with Flame you get a neutral, a red and a cranberry shade; Pumpkin is all about warm toned bright colors.

I was tempted to buy them all for my freelance kit – sometimes my job is so convenient – but I’m trying to behave for the sake of my wallet and I picked only two, Lace and Pumpkin.

Lace was the first palette to catch my attention because of the soft, everyday shades. It’s definitely the most wearable for fair girls like me but of course all the shades can be modulated to suit most skin tones.
The three blushes you get with these palettes are Crochet – a muted orange with matte finish -, Guipure – a peachy pink with metallic gold shimmer – and Chantilly – opaque reddish peach -.
Sleek recommends using the matte shades for a subtle day time look and adding the shimmery shade on top for night time allure. The shimmer shade though is pigmented enough to be used on its own and delivers a healty, glowy finish, perfect for the warm season. Also the matte shades are not flat or dull - they actually lean on the satin side -, they look natural and fresh.

As I said before, some shades remind me of previously released blushes: Guipure looks a lot like Rose gold from the permanent line – it’s also pretty close to NARS Orgasm -, while Crochet is similar to the LE blush from the Avoir la peche collection, Pan Tao. As far as I can tell Chantilly is an original shade.

The pigmentation is wonderful as usual and the texture is lovely, soft and easy to blend. The matte shades are a little powdery – try pressing the brush instead of swiping – while the shimmery shade is creamy, the glitters well combined into the powder so that they’re not chunky and don’t sit awkwardly on the skin.

The packaging is sleek – oh marvel! – and basic, but still elegant: a black compact made of sturdy plastic. It comes with a decent size mirror that makes it easy to travel with.
Each palette contains 20g of product – about 6.5g each blush – per 13€/10£ while in the single blushes you get 8g per 7€/5£. You see the Blush by 3 palettes are extremely convenient, since you get three almost-full-size powders for the price of two.
Space-saving and a lot cheaper, it’s a win-win product.

Come tutte le appassionate di makeup confermeranno, lo spazio è uno dei più grandi problemi delle collezioniste di prodotti di bellezza ed io non faccio eccezione. Questo è il motivo per cui ogni volta che un marchio propone prodotti salva-spazio – e di solito anche salva-portafoglio – come palette ed impilabili sono pronta a mettere mano alla fidata carta di credito.

Il marchio Sleek makeup non è nuovo alla beauty community - tutti conosciamo le favolose palette di ombretti ed il loro prezzo contenuto – e quando un brand costruisce la propria reputazione su un prodotto di grande successo, mantenere lo standard può essere difficile. La soluzione più semplice sarebbe quella di vivere di rendita e semplicemente continuare a sfornare palette che alla fine si assomigliano tutte. Invece Sleek ha deciso di creare - pur restando fedele alla nomea di brand di qualità a prezzi contenuti – qualcosa di nuovo, intelligente ed entusiasmante per questa primavera/estate e tra un attimo comprenderete la mia eccitazione.

Le palette Blush by 3 sono l’aggiunta più recente alla famiglia Sleek: 5 palette con 3 tonalità inedite di blush ciascuna – con una combinazione di finish opachi e shimmer -. Alcuni colori ricordano dei blush in edizione limitata presentati nelle collezioni passate, quindi se non siete riuscite ad accaparrarvi alcune di quelle colorazioni, questa è l’occasione giusta.
Lace contiene coralli rosati; la palette Pink Sprint contiene fuchsia e viola; Sugar si compone di marroni e prugna; con Flame si parla di rossi e neutri dai toni caldi; Pumpkin propone colori brillanti dai sottotoni caldi.

Sono stata tentata di acquistarle tutte e cinque per il mio kit da freelancer – alle volte il mio lavoro è proprio conveniente – ma sto cercando di contenermi per il bene del mio portafoglio ed ho scelto Lace e Pumpkin.

Lace è la prima palette che ha attirato la mia attenzione per le tonalità delicate, da tutti i giorni. E’ decisamente quella più sfruttabile dalle ragazze con la pelle molto chiara come me, ma ovviamente tutte le tonalità possono essere modulate per adeguarsi ad ogni carnagione.
I tre blush contenuti in questa palette sono Crochet – un arancio tenue con finish opaco -, Guipure – un rosa pesca con shimmer dorato dall’effetto quasi metallico– e Chantilly – un pesca matte tendente al rosso -.
Sleek raccomanda di usare i blush matte per un look leggero e sofisticato adatto a tutti i giorni, a cui sovrapporre la polvere iridescente per il perfetto glamour serale. Comunque Guipure è pigmentato abbastanza da essere utilizzato da solo, e dona una graziosa luminosità perfetta per la stagione calda. Tra l’altro le polveri opache non sono piatte e scialbe, ma il finish tende lievemente al satin, quindi l’effetto è fresco e naturale.

Come dicevo, alcuni dei colori ricordano dei blush visti in collezioni passate: Guipure assomiglia molto a Rose gold dalla linea permanente – mi ricorda inoltre Orgasm di NARS -, mentre Crochet è simile al blush in edizione limitata della collezione Avoir la peche collection, Pan Tao. Per quanto ne so Chantilly è una tonalità inedita.

La pigmentazione è fantastica come sempre e la texture è ottima, vellutata e semplice da sfumare. Le tonalità opache sono leggermente polverose – cercate di premere il pennello sulla polvere piuttosto che trascinarlo – mentre il blush shimmer ha una texture cremosa, i glitter sono un tutt’uno con la polvere, quindi l’effetto non è grossolano e non ci sono fall outs.

Il packaging è semplice ed essenziale ma comunque elegante: un compact di plastica nera, solida e resistente. Comprende anche uno specchio della larghezza della confezione, per cui è molto comodo per viaggiare o da tenere in borsetta per i ritocchi.
Ogni palette contiene 20g di prodotto – più o meno 6.5g per ciascuna cialda – al costo di 13€, mentre i blush singoli contengono 8g di prodotto e costano 7€. Come vedete le palette Blush by 3 sono estremamente convenienti, visto che si ricevono 3 blush quasi full size al prezzo di due.

Sleek makeup the Berry Collection

One of the most seen trends for this fall/winter is undoubtedly red, from bold retro lips to more daring red eyeshadows for fierce smoky eyes. Bright red is definitely not for everyone, but Sleek makeup came out with some fine pieces suitable for all skin tones, that could make the approach to this season’s trends way easier.

The Berry collection is a limited edition set of 3 makeup products - a blush, a lipstick and a jumbo eye kohl -, all featuring rich, sultry berry tones.

Cranberry is a True color lipstick with matte finish; the mulled wine shade is perfect for a sultry party look but it can also be wore like a stain – barely tapped on the lips using fingers or directly from the bullet – for everyday wear. The matte formula is long wearing but quite drying, so remember to exfoliate and moisturize the lips very well before use. It smells a little waxy, like some vintage lipsticks.
The powder blush, Fenberry, gives a lovely crimson flush that would suit both fairer and darker skin tones. The moment I saw it I thought about NARS Dolce Vita and it’s a very good dupe indeed – see the swatches below -. The shade is almost the same, as is the pigmentation; Fenberry is just a bit more satiny and slightly darker than Dolce Vita, but it’s barely noticeable.
Finally, Mossberry is a jumbo eye pencil, soft enough to be easily smudged around the eyes for an stress-free smoky eye. I wouldn’t use it on the waterline though, the irritated eye effect is just around the corner.

Uno dei trend comparso più di frequente sulle passerelle autunno/inverno di quest’anno è stato senza dubbio il rosso, dal trucco labbra un po’ retrò agli smoky eyes più audaci. Il rosso acceso decisamente non è per tutti, ma Sleek makeup ha creato alcuni prodotti adatti a tutti gli incarnati che renderanno l’approccio ai trend di stagione un po’ più semplice.
La Berry collection è un set di 3 prodotti in edizione limitata - un blush, un rossetto ed un matitone occhi – tutti nelle tonalità ricche e sensuali del borgogna.

Cranberry è un rossetto della linea True Color con un finish matte; il color vinaccia è perfetto per un look voluttuoso per le feste, ma si può applicare anche come stain – picchiettando appena sulle labbra con le dita o direttamente dal bullet – per un makeup da tutti i giorni. La formula matte dura a lungo ma è anche molto asciutta, per cui esfoliate ed idratate le labbra con cura prima dell’applicazione. Ha un sentore di cera tipico dei rossetti di una volta.
Il blush in polvere, Fenberry, dona una sfumatura rosa cremisi che si addice sia agli incarnati porcellana, sia alle carnagioni più scure. Appena l’ho visto ho pensato immediatamente a Dolce Vita di NARS e infatti è un ottimo sostituto – vedi gli swatches più su -. La tonalità è quasi la stessa, come la pigmentazione; Fenberry è lievemente più scuro ed ha un finish meno matte, ma le differenze si notano appena.
Infine Mossberry è un matitone per occhi, morbido abbastanza per essere sfumato con facilità per un semplice trucco smoky. Eviterei però di usarlo sulla rima inferiore dell’occhio per evitare l’effetto occhi infiammati.

Tutti i prodotti sono in edizione limitata e non possono essere acquistati singolarmente. Tuttavia il set è estremamente conveniente: costa 12€ e il rossetto e il blush da soli costerebbero 7€ l’uno.
