001 Although I currently own enough cream blushes coming out of my eyeballs, the Stila Color Me Pretty Lip & Cheek Palette (£19.50) looks like a must have for any blush fiend, like yours truly here. I already dipped my paws in a couple of shades and I really love the moisturizing formula and the dewy, healthy glow it gives to the skin.

002 After years spent obsessing over perfectly smooth and straight locks, lately I've been enjoying a grungier, effortless look and lots and lots of volume. Of course it's not a serious big hair-talk if it doesn't involve Bumble & Bumble and two of their best-selling products: The Tousled Two Step Gift Set (£27) features the phenomenal Bb. Texture (starting from £10) and a special edition size of the Thickening Hairspray (from £7.50), another favourite of mine. A great value for money and two of the products I can't leave without in one gift set? I'm in!

003 Chilly weather and snowfalls in November set my dry skin-alarm off. Better suit up and include one of the Clarins Face Treatment Oils (£30) in my skincare routine. I have my eyes on the Blue Orchid one, specifically created to fix dehydrated skin and fight dullness and lack of radiance.

004 I seriously can't wait to put my mitts on the gel version of my favourite nail polish of all time. I've seen many rave reviews about how awesome the Nails Inc. Gel Effect Polish (£14) in Porchester square is and frankly I'm curious to find out how one of the best polishes on the market has been improved.

005 If you read my previous post about my monthly favourites, you'll know how much I'm loving my Wayne Goss brushes. Just a few days ago the Limited Edition Christmas Brush (£50) popped up on Love-makeup, looking uber soft and oh so fluffy; it had me weak at the knees right away and I'm already dreaming to pet it like the softest kitten. I do have issues, I know.

006 Apparently the new Shu Uemura S curler (£20) isn't just the cutest curler on the market; it's also great to squeeze natural lashes into the fake ones so they look perfectly blended, and to curl even the shortest inner and outer lashes. And if the ultimate curl wasn't a good enough reason to lust, this super cute limited edition Takahashi Murakami charm shattered that bit of reluctance I may have had. I need it.

001 Anche se al mio cassetto dei blush manca tanto così per esplodere, la Stila Color Me Pretty Lip & Cheek Palette (€26) sembra proprio un must per le fanatiche di blush in crema, come la sottoscritta. Ho già provato un paio di tonalità e adoro la formula idratante, la luminosità e l'effetto quasi bagnato che donano alle guance.

002 Dopo anni passati a rincorrere il liscio perfetto, ultimamente ho cominciato ad apprezzare uno stile più grungy e disordinato, a tutto volume. Ovviamente non si può parlare di chiome voluminose senza menzionare Bumble & Bumble e due dei loro prodotti best-seller: The Tousled Two Step Gift Set (€32) contiene il fenomenale Bb. Texture (a partire da €12) ed una taglia speciale di Thickening Hairspray (from €9), un altro dei miei preferiti. Un affarone e due dei miei prodotti preferiti nella stessa confezione regalo? Ci sto!

003 Vento freddo e nevicate in Novembre hanno fatto scattare il mio allarme-pelle secca. Meglio correre subito ai ripari ed includere nella mia routine uno dei Clarins Face Treatment Oils (€34.95). Ho messo gli occhi sulla versione con Orchidea Blu, specifica per pelli disidratate e per contrastare i grigiori invernali ed il colorito opaco.

004 Non vedo l'ora di provare la versione in gel del mio smalto preferito di sempre. Ho letto tantissime review entusiastiche a proposito del Nails Inc. Gel Effect Polish (€17) in Porchester square e sono curiosa di scoprire come la formula, già fantastica di suo, sia stata addirittura migliorata.

005 Se avete letto il mio ultimo post sui preferiti del mese, saprete quanto sto adorando i miei pennelli Wayne Goss. Pochi giorni fa su Love-makeup ha fatto capolino il nuovo Limited Edition Christmas Brush (€60), che dalle foto sembrerebbe morbidissimo e soffice come un cucciolo; già sogno di accarezzarlo come un gattino in stile cattivo dei film di James Bond. Ho dei problemi, lo so.

006 A quanto pare il nuovo Shu Uemura S curler (€24) non è solo il piegaciglia più carino sul mercato; è anche perfetto per piegare le ciglia finte e mescolarle alla perfezione con quelle naturali, e per curvare le ciglia più corte nell'angolo esterno ed interno. E se la piega perfetta non fosse un motivo sufficiente per mettere mano al portafoglio, quel delizioso charm in edizione limitata firmato Takahashi Murakami mi ha tolto ogni dubbio. Lo devo avere.

001 Clarins' rip-off of the famous Naked is a serious stunner. The Essential Palette (£35) features 10 mineral eyeshadows in satin, pearl and matte finishes. The shades are so me they had me weak at the knees the moment I laid eyes on the palette. The powders look buttery soft and quite pigmented, and I can't wait to swatch them all.

002 Christmas countdown has never looked more beautiful. Behind every door of the Benefit Countdown to Love (£65) is one of 24 deluxe surprises for you to try. This gorgeous calendar includes a selection of some of the brand's bestsellers - like Hoola, Dandelion and Coralista box o' powders, The Porefessional, Benetint and Posietint, Badgal Lash mascara and That Gal primer - and 3 little extra surprises for a very Benefit Christmas. I had so much fun with my Ciatè Mini Many Month last year and I'm really looking forward to trying out some of these products every day.

003 Another swoon-inducing palette from NARS. How could I ever resist? Two years ago I missed the Danmari one but the NARS One Night Stand Palette (£45) will be mine. Including 3 of the most famous shades - Orgasm and Deep Throat blushes and Laguna bronzer -, this palette also features 3 exclusive limited edition shades: Mistinguette and Goulue blushes and Devotee highlighting blush. Oh so pretty!

004 I'm still working my way through the sample I got at the counter, but the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Protect (£28) is on top of my to-buy list for my next visit to the mall. The newest addiction to the brand's primer line-up smooths the skin and makes foundation last longer while the slightly radiant finish blurs imperfections and provides a soft, luminous look. If the Oil-free primer and the Radiance one had a baby it would look like this. The extra spf30 PA+++ protection to shield the skin from UV rays makes it the ultimate primer.

001 La variante Clarins della palette in stile Naked toglie il fiato. La The Essential Palette (€29) (esclusiva Coin e La Rinascente) contiene 10 ombretti minerali dal finish satinato, perlato ed opaco. I colori sono assolutamente nel mio stile, tanto da farmi venire le ginocchia molli al primo sguardo. Le polveri sembrano morbide come il burro ed abbastanza pigmentate, e non vedo l'ora di darmi allo swatch selvaggio.

002 Il conto alla rovescia per il Natale non è mai stato così bello. Dietro le porticine del calendario dell'Avvento Benefit Countdown to Love (€81.50) (disponibile in esclusiva solo presso boutique Benefit) si nascondono 24 sorprese in formato deluxe tutte da provare. Il calendario include mini taglie dei best seller del marchio - come Hoola, Dandelion and Coralista box o' powders, The Porefessional, Benetint e Posietint, Badgal Lash mascara e That Gal primer - oltre a 3 accessori per dare alle Feste un tocco tutto Benefit. L'anno scorso mi è piaciuto tantissimo scoprire i mini smalti del Ciatè Mini Many Month ed attendo con ansia di provare un prodotto makeup o skincare al giorno per tutto dicembre.

003 Un'altra palette da svenimento di NARS. Come potrei resistere? Due anni fa la Danmari mi è sfuggita, ma quest'anno la NARS One Night Stand Palette (€52) sarà mia. Include 3 best seller del marchio - i blush Orgasm e Deep Throat ed il bronzer Laguna - e 3 nuove tonalità esclusive in edizione limitata: i blush Mistinguette e Goulue e l'illuminante Devotee - un rosa caramella, un lampone con glitter dorati ed un rosa chiaro opalescente rispettivamente. Wow!

004 Sto ancora utilizzando il sample che ho ricevuto al counter, ma il Laura Mercier Foundation Primer Protect (€35) è in cima alla mia lista della spesa per la prossima visita alLa Rinascente. L'ultimo arrivato della linea di primer leviga la pelle e prolunga la durata del fondotinta, donando allo stesso tempo una leggera luminosità all'incarnato che rende pori ed imperfezioni meno evidenti. Se il primer Oil-free e quello Radiance avessero un bambino, avrebbe l'aspetto di Protect. Ed il filtro solare spf30 PA+++ che protegge la pelle dai raggi UV è la ciliegina sulla torta che lo rende a dir poco perfetto.

001 You know how much I love trying out new foundations and with a soft spot for treatment makeup, the new YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation got my attention right away. I can't wait to give it a try; I only hope it won't be as heavily scented as other YSL products are.

002 I've been all over blender sponges lately and given my endless love for Real Techniques I couldn't let this one go unnoticed. Sam's such an enabler. I've been watching her tutorials on the RT channel in the past few days and I may or may not have clicked on the checkout button already.

003 Strictly speaking, I wouldn't say I need a new powder; however Bourjois is another of those brands I can't really resist to. Besides I don't think need has anything to do with cute illuminating powders in pretty vintage packaging, am I right? Let's hope it appears on Asos very soon, 'cause I've been stalking the website with alarming frequency lately and I feel like such a weirdo.

004 I've been watching Charlotte Tilbury and her work since way before she started a YT channel - after appearing in one of Lisa Eldridge's videos -, and her Magic cream felt like something almost mythologycal to me. Imagine my happiness when I found out it was going to be available for purchase. However 70£ are a little too much for a blind purchase but hopefully I'll be able to try out a sample very soon. Cross your fingers for me!

005 At first I dismissed the whole RiRi Love collection, because the packaging looks oh so cheap and a bit rubbish to me, and I couldn't see why I should spend extra money for a bunch a repackaged permanent products and only a few limited editions - also I'm quite sure the collection will go out of stock in a matter of seconds and I'm not a fan of race shopping -. However after reading Jessica's review of the Bad Girl Gone Good blush I had to rethink the whole thing. This shade looks so pretty on fair skin and I might actually try to get my hands on it.

001 Sapete quanto ami testare nuovi fondotinta e visto il mio debole per i prodotti makeup con trattamento incluso, il nuovo Youth Liberator Serum Foundation di YSL mi ha fatto subito drizzare le antenne. Non vedo l'ora di provarlo, spero soltanto che la profumazione non sia forte come nel resto dei prodotti del marchio.

002 Mi sembrava scortese non includere la Miracle Sponge nella mia wishlist vista la mia recentissima ossessione per le spugnette stile beauty blender e poi, proprio non so resistere ai prodotti Real Techniques. Sam è tremenda comunque. Ho guardato i suoi video sul canale RT negli ultimi giorni e potrei o non potrei aver già cliccato sul bottone del checkout.

003 Non che mi serva una nuova polvere ma Bourjois è un altro di quei marchi a cui difficilmente riesco a resistere. E comunque non credo servano particolari scuse per acquistare una polvere illuminante contenuta in una scatolina in stile vintage così graziosa. Spero compaia presto su Asos. Sto diventando una di quelle persone ossessive che controllano il sito due volte al giorno.

004 Seguo Charlotte Tilbury da ben prima che fosse ospite in uno dei video di Lisa Eldridge ed aprisse il suo canale, e la sua Magic cream è sempre stata una specie di bestia mitologica per me. Quando ho sentito che Charlotte stava per lanciarla sul mercato ho improvvisato un balletto. Ora, 70£ sono comunque tante per un acquisto alla cieca, ma prossimamente, se tutto va bene, dovrei riuscire a mettere le mani su un sample. Incrociate le dita con me!

005 All'inzio ho scartato l'intera collezione RiRi Love, perchè il packaging mi sembra pacchiano ed un po' cheap, e davvero faccio fatica a giustificare il costo extra per l'edizione limitata di prodotti che per la maggior parte fanno parte della linea permanente - poi diciamocelo, questo tipo di collezioni spariscono dai negozi in poche ore ed io non sono una fan dello shopping a cronometro -. Però dopo aver letto la recensione di Jessica su Beautezine del blush Bad Girl Gone Good ho avuto un ripensamento. Il blush è uno splendore sulle carnagioni chiare e potrei provare a metterci le mani sopra (senza particolare impegno però perchè temo di essere già in ritardo).

Le Blush Crème De Chanel Cream Blush // Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Riviera and Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo // SEPHORA The Weekender // Estee Lauder Cheek Rush Gel Blush // Yankee Candle Salted Caramel Candle

001 I'm all over cream blushes at the moment and of course the latest Chanel release had me weak at the knees in a handful of seconds. Le Blush Crème De Chanel (27£) come in 6 gorgeous shades and I'm having a seriusly hard time picking up the prettiest one. Of course I don't need another blush, but since when has Chanel got anything to do with need anyways?

002 And of course when I've finally made up my mind about the Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Riviera (23£) and slipped it in my cart for a future purchase, here comes another amazing release: a range of six nudes available in different intensities and undertones for perfect fit for everyone.
I love me some bright lips of course, but the fact I've never been able to find the right shade of nude to make me look sophisticated as opposite of dead, has been bugging me for years. So, excuse me, but I'll file the need to try at least one of the Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo (30$) under 'for science purposes'.

003 I've been lusting over the Laura Mercier Custom Artist Portfolio Home and Away (65£) for months now but I'm still a little unsure about it - shiny snake skin isn't really my thing and it looks a bit tacky to be honest -. I've been looking for a nice dupe and The Weekender by Sephora (38$) is the best alternative so far. It looks quite amazing actually and the quilted black case is a lot more professional. I'm afraid it might be a US exclusive but I'm absolutely determined to put my paws on it.

004 Wait, another blush? What a shocker! I understand I'm a little late on the Estee Lauder Pure Color Cheek Rush Gel Blushes (24£) bandwagon but the description reminds me a lot of the Clarins Eclat Minute ones - that where limited edition for Summer 2012 -, which by the way I'm still loving to pieces and rationing like a crazy person. Half jelly blush half stain sounds great for this time of the year when I'm all about natural flush and thin, long lasting textures.

005 My sweet tooth is showing I'm afraid. I've almost burned my way through my candle stash and it's nearly time to stock up again. Yankee's fall/winter scents are always so good and I can't wait to put my hands on this one in particular: can you imagine the gooey sweetness of burnt caramel with a whiff of sea salt to give it an edge? Better stop right here before the keyboard gets all sticky with drool.

001 Ultimamente sono fissata con i blush in crema ed ovviamente alla vista dell'ultima proposta Chanel ho avuto un piccolo mancamento. Le Blush Crème De Chanel (31€) sono disponibili in 6 tonalità, una più bella dell'altra, e davvero non so come farò a sceglierne solo una. Certo, non mi serve un altro blush, però da quando Chanel ha a che fare con il bisogno?

002 Ed ovviamente appena mi decido e faccio scivolare casualmente Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Riviera (27€) nel mio carrello, pronto per acquisti futuri, ecco che arriva l'ultima novità del marchio a rimescolare le carte: un range di 6 rossetti effetto nudo con diverse intensità e sottotoni, che promettono un match perfetto per ciascuno. Naturalmente non sono pronta a rinunciare ai rossetti brillanti, ma non essere mai riuscita a trovare un rossetto nudo, capace di darmi un aspetto sofisticato invece di farmi sembrare un cadavere, è sempre stato un mio cruccio. Quindi chiedo scusa, ma i nuovi Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo (30$) entrano dritti dritti in wishlist a puro scopo scientifico.

003 Sono mesi che faccio il filo al Laura Mercier Custom Artist Portfolio Home and Away (75€) ma ancora non sono convinta del tutto - l'effetto pelle di serpente metallizzato non è il mio genere e, per dirla tutta, è un filino pacchiano -. Ho frugato il web in cerca di una buona alternativa e la The Weekender by Sephora (38$) sembrerebbe perfetta. Adoro il tessuto trapuntato nero, che mi sembra anche molto più professionale. Sfortunatamente sembrerebbe l'ennesima esclusiva per l'America, ma sono più che determinata ad averla.

004 Un altro blush? Che shock! Da noi gli Estee Lauder Pure Color Cheek Rush Gel Blushes (28€) non sono ancora arrivati, almeno a giudicare dal sito, ma all'estero hanno collezionato un bel po' di review positive. Dalla descrizione mi ricordano i blush liquidi Eclat Minute di Clarins - che erano un'edizione limitata per l'estate 2012 -, che tra l'altro sto centellinando come una pazza perchè a suo tempo non ho avuto la prontezza di farne scorta. A metà tra un gel ed una tinta, sembrano perfetti per me che amo l'effetto rossore naturale ed i prodotti a lunga durata.

005 La mia golosità reclama l'ultimo oggetto in wishlist. Ho quasi dato fondo alla mia scorta di candele ed è ormai arrivato il momento di fare provviste. Le collezioni Yankee Candle per l'autunno/inverno non deludono mai e quella di quest'anno non è da meno; in particolare non vedo l'ora di mettere le mani su questa delizia al caramello: riuscite ad immaginare il profumo cremoso di zucchero bruciato con un pizzico di sale marino a dargli mordente? Meglio che mi fermi qui prima di sbrodolare sulla tastiera.

Flora By Gucci Glorious Mandarin EDT // KORRES Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Lip Cooler // MAC Brush Roll Large // KORRES Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial // NARS Strada Eyeshadow

001 The Gucci lady at the mall sprayed me by surprise the other day and the only reason I didn't bite her head off is I actually love the scent. Glorious Mandarin doesn't really have a citrusy smell as I expected but it's fresh and crisp and the floral notes add a nice balance to the mix. I think 'happy' would be the perfect word to describe this scent. So lovely.

002 I'm not big on lip glosses but sometimes in the summer lipsticks can feel too heavy and I can barely stand wearing them. KORRES Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Lip Cooler is both a treatment and a non-sticky gloss: the formula contains micro exfoliating beads to get rid of dry skin and Greek yogurt proteins to nourish the lips. The doe-foot applicator also features a rollerball for an extra cooling and soothing effect. Sounds like a gimmick to be honest but I'm curious to give it a try.

003 If all goes well I'll be going on a cruise at the end of September for a job. I haven't done a serious trip in ages and I need to update my brush packing system, because I'll need to pack my own and the ones for the freelance job as well. I actually saw a fellow makeup artist use the Large Brush Roll by MAC at school and it looked extremely practical and roomy, with a lot of space for your brushes and a nice zippered pouch for pencils, disposables and extra tools.

004 Super-charged Greek yogurt proteins? Facial-in-a -jar? SOLD. KORRES Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial is one of the most hyped up products of the season and according to the enthusiastic reviews I've been reading lately, this uber hydrating and smoothing night mask is truly a life changer. We'll see.

005 I recently swatched it in store and NARS Strada stole my heart right away. At first I was a little unsure about the quite noticeable gold glitters; however the amethyst shade is just perfect for my coloring. Unfortunately I read is very hard to work with so maybe I'll look for a dupe first. Have you tried it?

001 Qualche giorno fa la presentatrice Gucci fuori dalLa Gardenia me lo ha spruzzato di sorpresa, senza aspettare che le rispondessi e l'unico motivo per cui non me la sono mangiata è che il profumo è davvero una meraviglia. Glorious mandarin non ha il profumo deciso di agrume che mi sarei aspettata, ma è fresco e frizzante, con delle note floreali che danno equilibrio ed alleggeriscono l'essenza fruttata. E' una di quelle fragranze che mettono di buon umore. Da annusare.

002 Non amo particolarmente i gloss per labbra ma può capitare, quando fa caldo, che i rossetti mi diano fastidio perchè troppo pesanti. KORRES Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Lip Coolerè allo stesso tempo un gloss non appiccicoso ed un trattamento: contiene delle microsfere esfolianti che eliminano la pelle secca e proteine di yogurt greco per nutrire le labbra in profondità. E l'applicatore doe-foot è dotato di una biglia massaggiatrice per un effetto rinfrescante. Sembra un miscuglio improbabile di caratteristiche accattivanti ma sarei davvero curiosa di provarne uno.

003 Se tutto andrà nel verso giusto a fine settembre dovrei prendere parte ad una crociera per un lavoro. E' un bel po' che non faccio un viaggio degno di essere chiamato tale, per cui devo aggiornare il mio metodo di imballaggio, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i pennelli, visto che dovrò portare quelli per uso personale e quelli per il lavoro freelance. Di recente ho visto una collega makeup artist utilizzare il Brush Roll Large di MAC dopo una lezione e mi è sembrato molto comodo ed ampio, con tanti spazi per i pennelli ed una pochette con zip inclusa per spugnette, applicatori usa e getta e strumenti extra.

004 Infusione di proteine di yogurt greco? Facial-in-barattolo? VENDUTO. KORRES Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial è uno dei prodotti di cui si sente parlare di più ultimamente ed a giudicare dalle recensioni entusiaste che leggo qua e là, questa maschera notte ultra idratante e lisciante è un prodotto miracoloso. Vedremo.

005 L'ho swatchato durante la mia ultima visita da Sephora e NARS Strada mi ha subito rubato il cuore. All'inizio i glitter dorati stra-evidenti mi hanno lasciata perplessa, ma d'altra parte la tonalità ametista è perfetta per la mia carnagione. Sfortunatamente pare sia molto difficile da lavorare, per cui credo che cercherò un dupe prima di lanciarmi nell'acquisto. Voi l'avete provato per caso?

001 Stark packaging and rose scented products don't usually tickle my fancy, but with this release Lancome got my full attention. The Hypnose Doll Eyes Palettes struck me for the beautiful color combinations, easy textures and great pigmentation. Sometimes palettes are all over the place but these ones contain a full day to night look with fool proof instructions. Looking forward to give them a closer look.

002 Painfully boring yes, but you know I love my neutrals. Thanks to my Naked palettes I own my fair share of Urban Decay shadows but Mushroom is still missing. This silvery taupe-ish grey is one of the most popular shades and after seeing it in action I can see why. It works perfectly both on its own for a quick smokey look or in the crease to balance out brighter shades.

003 Fair girls like me know how hard it is to find the right bronzer shade that isn't too dark hence makes you look dirty. The Chantecaille Compact Soleil is quite a splurge to be honest but if Sam Chapman recommends, I start lusting right away.

004 The brush is one of those weird spoolies I usually don't like but it's the formula that really matters here. The Givenchy Noir Couture 4 in 1 Waterproof Mascara promises volume, curl, length and treatment and according to Jessica, who like me knows the pain of straight and stubborn lashes, it delivers them as well. That's a no-brainer for me. And look at that gorgeous white packaging!

005 Finding a spf product that doesn't leave that awful white cast behind is not as easy as it sounds - my latest La Roche Posay purchase for instance was a huge miss, but more on that later -. 001 Packaging austero e prodotti che profumano di rosa di solito non mi attirano minimamente, ma con questa collezione Lancome ha catturato la mia attenzione. Le Hypnose Doll Eyes Palettes mi hanno colpita per le deliziose combinazioni di colori, le texture facili e l'ottima pigmentazione. Alcune palette contengono colori un po' a caso, ma queste propongono un look completo da giorno a sera con istruzioni molto accurate e quindi perfette per chi è alle prime armi. Vorrei proprio vederle dal vivo.

002 Che noia, lo so, ma mi conoscete e sapete che amo i miei ombretti neutri. Grazie alle due palette Naked possiedo un numero discreto di ombretti Urban Decay ma Mushroommanca ancora all'appello. Questo grigio talpa argentato è uno dei colori più popolari e dopo averlo visto in azione (soprattutto in molti look di A.G. di What's in my bag) ne capisco il motivo. E' uno di quei colori che fa un'ottima figura sia da solo per uno smokey veloce, sia nella piega per bilanciare colori più accesi.

003 Chi ha una pelle di porcellana come la mia sa quanto sia difficile trovare una terra abbronzante che non sia troppo scura e che quindi non abbia quell'effetto 'sporco' sulle guance. Il Chantecaille Compact Soleil costa parecchio, però se Sam Chapman raccomanda io aggiorno obbediente la wishlist.

004 L'applicatore è uno di quegli spoolie un po' troppo elaborati che di solito mi piacciono poco ma qui è la formula che conta. Il Givenchy Noir Couture 4 in 1 Waterproof Mascara garantisce volume, lunghezza, ciglia incurvate e trattamento e a sentire Jessica, che come me convive con ciglia drittissime e testarde, mantiene tutte queste promesse. Ed avete visto quel bellissimo packaging bianco?

005 Trovare un spf che non lasci quell'orrida patina biancastra sulla pelle è più difficile di quanto non si pensi - il mio ultimo acquisto La Roche Posay per esempio è stato un buco nell'acqua, ma ne riparleremo -. Il Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defence è l'ultimo arrivato ma ha già un nutrito stuolo di fans. Urge una visitina al counter al più presto.

001 If the rest of the Paranormal collection didn't really tickle my fancy, Hydra Veil got my attention right away. It's part primer, part hydrator with the funniest gel consistency, that claims to help foundation glide on more easily and instantly rehydrate the skin. I love myself a good primer and after reading all the positive comments, I can't wait to play with this phenomenal jell-o.

002 Even if I'm not a huge bronzer lover, I'm a total sucker for powders with cute embossed designs. Just look at those pretty flowers! The Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Radiant Bronzing Powder is a mix of different browns and pinks to mix to customize your own shade of bronzer and it can probably double as eyeshadow palette as well. Gorgeous!

003 I hoped my craving for the French brand's lovely scents would have vanished after my purchase of Philosykos but I can't stop thinking of my second favorite scent out of the samples I received: L'Ombre Dans L'Eau, a tart, aquatic fragrance that smells exactly like flowers blooming by the riverside. Le sigh.

004 I was watching a YT video the other day and the vlogger - I can't remember who it was, sorry - was wearing Honey lust by MAC all over the lid as a sheer wash of color. I was actually shocked by how multidimensional and glowing it looked, so of course I added this beautiful bronze-dipped peach to my wishlist right away. Isn't always like that with MAC? You think you already own all the pretty shades and then you see something that 'wow it looks so pretty on her I want it!' and you need to have it. Damnit MAC!

005 I've been loving my fake beauty blender a lot lately, but I'm not quite ready to purchase the real one and spend £17 on a sponge just yet. However everyone seems to be coming out with it's own version of the miracle sponge and I think the Sephora The Perfectionist Makeup Sponge might be one of the most interesting offers, for the shape, yes, but mostly for the little stand it comes with. I like the idea of being able to store it neatly to dry instead of having it rolling wildly around my bathroom. Ahem.

001 Se il resto della collezione Paranormal non è proprio nella mie corde, Hydra Veil ha catturato la mia attenzione fin da subito. Si tratta di un ibrido in parte primer, in parte idratante dalla buffa consistenza gelatinosa, che promette di aiutare la stesura del fondotinta e contemporaneamente fornire un'iniezione di idratazione alla pelle. I primer mi interessano sempre moltissimo e dopo aver letto tutti i commenti positivi non vedo l'ora di testare questa gelatina miracolosa.

002 Anche se non sono un'avida consumatrice di terre abbronzanti, non so resistere ad un bel design impresso sulla cipria. Insomma, guardate quei fiori! L'Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Radiant Bronzing Powder è un mix di diversi di marroni e rosa da mischiare per ottenere un bronzer adatto alla propria carnagione, ed immagino potrebbe anche essere sfruttabile come palette occhi. Stupenda!

003 Speravo che la mia brama per i meravigliosi profumi del marchio francese si attenuasse un pochino dopo l'acquisto di Philosykos, ma non riesco a smettere di pensare all'altra fragranza che mi aveva colpito nell'annusare i samples:  L'Ombre Dans L'Eau, un'essenza acquatica e vagamente asprigna che profuma di fiori sbocciati sulla riva del fiume. Mandate un adulto responsabile a controllarmi, per favore.

004 Guardavo un video su YT l'altro giorno e la vlogger - adesso non ricordo chi - indossava Honey lust di MAC su tutta la palpebra mobile e poi sfumato nella piega. Mi ha colpita subito per la multidimensionalità e la luminosità, per cui ho aggiunto immediatamente questo pesca bronzato all'infinita lista di cose da comprare da MAC. E' sempre così, no? Pensi di possedere già tutti i colori più belli della linea e poi 'oh, che bene che le sta, lo voglio' e siamo da capo. Ditemi che non sono l'unica.

005 Il mio falso beauty blender continua a sorprendermi ma ammetto che per quanto mi piaccia, non sono ancora pronta a spendere 20 e passa euro per una spugnetta. Comunque molte brand stanno proponendo le loro versioni (l'avete vista quella verde acqua di KIKO?) della spugna miracolosa e credo che la Sephora The Perfectionist Makeup Sponge possa essere una delle versioni più interessanti, e per la forma stravagante, ma soprattutto per lo stand di cui è fornita. Mi piace l'idea di poterla sistemare per bene ad asciugare, invece di ritrovarmela rotolante tra i piedi ogni tre per due. Speriamo che arrivi presto da noi.

001 Lisa Eldridge is the one to blame for good part of the Chanel products that make it to my wishlist and this is once again the case: she introduced Les Beiges Poudre Belle Mine Naturelle in one of her latest videos and within 5 minutes I was already looking for a stockist. Chanel shade availability in Italy is always a huge issue, since the lightest shades - 10 and 20 - rarely reach our counters but I'll keep my fingers crossed, because this powder looks lovely on the skin.

002 The original Body EDT has been my signature scent for fall/winter so of course I had to try the newest spring edition. Body Tender is lighter and crispier than the original version, with a citrusy twist that makes you instantly think of spring. It's still elegant and sophisticated, but much more youthful and fresher.

003 Let me shake my fist up at the sky and curse Zara for a second here, because my helpless crush for their handbags has just reached the point of absurdity. Only 4 days ago I purchased the gorgeous Shopper With Braided Handles in nude and I'm already lusting over another bag. Everyone seem to be going crazy over the black version of the Office City Bag but I like the caramel one so much more. At first I brushed it off as 'too formal' but it looks awfully smarter in real life. Is there a support group or something for this kind of obsessions?

004 The Bird of Paradise collection is truly gorgeous and so exciting compared to other spring/summer collections - like NARS Summer shock to name one - that fall a bit flat in my opinion. I love pinks and corals like the next person but we've seen them everywhere lately; this peacock blue and bamboo green explosion is so refreshing. The eyeshadow palette looks very pretty as well but I'm not sure I'll get many uses out of it; the nail polishes on the other hand are perfect for those who like to play safer like your truly here.

005 With the Prime Style Extender has been love at first use and now I'm looking forward to try something else from the Living Proof range. Full Thickening Cream promises instant volume without making your hair look and feel stiff, keeping them soft and lightweight instead. I don't know about you but all the volumizing products I've tried left my hair feeling crunchy and a bit sticky, so this styling cream does sound really appealing.

001 Lisa Eldridge è l'unica da biasimare per la maggior parte dei prodotti Chanel che sono finiti nella mie wishlist e ci risiamo un'altra volta: ha introdotto la Les Beiges Poudre Belle Mine Naturelle in uno dei suoi ultimi video e tempo 5 minuti stavo già cercando informazioni sull'uscita in Italia. Il problema tutto italiano con Chanel riguarda le tonalità disponibili: le più chiare - 10 e 20 - arrivano raramente nei nostri negozi ma terrò le dita incrociate, perchè l'effetto sulla pelle è stupendo e la devo provare.

002 Il Body originale è stato il mio profumo distintivo per tutto l'autunno/inverno, per cui dovevo provare anche la nuovissima versione primaverile. Body Tender è più leggero e frizzante dell'originale, con un pizzico di limone che fa subito primavera. E' sempre elegante e sofisticato, ma molto più giovane e fresco.

003 Datemi un secondo per agitare i pugni al cielo e maledire Zara, perchè la questione borse sta prendendo una brutta piega ed ormai rasenta il ridicolo. Solo pochi giorni fa mi sono regalata la bellissima Shopper con manici intrecciati color carne e sto già sbavando su una nuova borsa. Soprattutto in Gran Bretagna, in tantissime hanno perso la testa per la versione nera della Office City Bag ma io preferisco di gran lunga quella color cuoio. All'inizio l'ho snobbata perchè troppo formale, ma in realtà è davvero chic dal vivo. C'è un gruppo di sostegno per queste cose, vero?

004 La collezione Bird of Paradise è davvero stupenda e molto più interessante di altre proposte per la primavera/estate in uscita in questi giorni - prima fra tutte la Summer shock di NARS - che a mio parere sono un po' piatte e poco eccitanti. Amo rosa e coralli come chiunque altro, ma ultimamente ce li hanno proposti in tutte le salse, per cui questa esplosione di blu pavone e verde bamboo è davvero rinfrescante. La palette di ombretti è bella da morire, ma onestamente non so quanto la utilizzerei; gli smalti invece sono sempre un ottimo modo per osare il colore senza esporsi troppo.

005 Con il Prime Style Extender è stato amore al primo utilizzo per cui non vedo l'ora di provare altri prodotti della linea Living Proof. La Full Thickening Cream è una crema volumizzante che promette di sollevare le radici instantaneamente senza appesantire i capelli o irrigidirli, mantenendoli invece morbidi e leggeri. Non so quali siano le vostre esperienze, ma con tutti i prodotti volumizzanti che ho testato in passato mi sono ritrovata con capelli rigidi ed appiccicosi, quindi questo prodotto per lo styling è proprio accattivante.

001 The other day the lovely sale assistant at the Tom Ford counter gave me a thorough tour showing me the whole line and answering all my questions about it. I have to admit at first I simply wrote off the line as too expensive for what it was but after experiencing the range first hand I have to take everything back. The brushes are incredibly soft and apply both powders and creams beautifully and the texture of the blushes totally blew me out of the water. Ah.may.zing. Need to start saving ASAP!

002 I'm a huge fan of the creamy correctors but sometimes the formula can be a little too heavy and hard to blend. For this reason I'm looking forward to trying the brightening liquid formula which among other things also promises not to set into fine lines. If only Bobbi Brown wasn't so hard to get a hold of here...

003 I was quite surprised to read so many good reviews about the Radiant concealers especially if you consider how drying and below average are other similar products by NARS. I'm on the market for an illuminating concealer with good coverage for my under eye area and I was going to repurchase the Clinique Airbrush one but now I'm curious to test this one instead.

004 I had my eyes on this product for a while now and I think I'm finally ready for the splurge. It's basically a multi-tasking formula, a concentrate of pigment that can be used as foundation, concealer, added to a tinted moisturizer too improve the coverage while keeping the skin radiant and so on and so forth. I have a soft spot for multi-tasking products and I'm curious to see if the Sensual skin enhancer is really as wonderful as it sounds.

005 During my last visit at the mall I stopped and the Diptyque counter as well to smell their lovely candles, and instead I fell for the amazing scents on display. The selection process was a little dramatic since all the scents were so different but so gorgeous at the same time. Finally I narrowed the choice to 6 scents - oh my - and after dipping my nose in the paper samples for a couple of days I think I finally made my pick. Philosykos smells like figs and fig leaves with a lovely summer hue in the background and it's the best selling fragrance of the French brand. No wonder about that, it's incredible!

001 L'altro giorno la MUA del counter Tom Ford è stata così gentile da farmi fare un tour completo, mostrandomi tutta la linea e rispondendo alle mie domande sui vari prodotti. Devo confessare di aver liquidato l'intera linea come troppo costosa per quello che è in passato ma ora devo rimangiarmi tutto o quasi. I pennelli sono morbidissimi ed applicano creme e polveri magnificamente, mentre la texture burrosa dei blush è da pelle d'oca. Wow. Ovviamente il tutto costa un rene e mezzo, ma  mi piacerebbe prendere un paio di cose. Devo solo rapinare una banca o due...

002 Adoro i correttori colorati di Bobbi Brown, ma alle volte sono un po' troppo pesanti e difficili da sfumare, senza contare che possono infilarsi nelle pieghette se non si presta attenzione. Quindi mi piacerebbe proprio provare la versione light in formato liquido, che tra le altre cose promette di non infilarsi nelle linee di espressione. Se solo Bobbi Brown non fosse così difficile da trovare qui da noi...

003 Visti lo scarso successo e le recensioni negative collezionate dagli altri correttori NARS negli anni immaginate la mia sorpresa nel leggere solo cose positive a proposito della nuova creatura del marchio francese, i Radiant concealers. Il mio Touche eclat è finalmente agli sgoccioli e tra un po' dovrò acquistare un nuovo correttore illuminante; pensavo di ricomprare l'Airbrush di Clinique, ma credo che proverò questo invece.

004 E' un po' che tengo d'occhio il Sensual skin enhancer e credo di essere finalmente pronta a fare il grande passo. In pratica si tratta di un prodotto tuttofare, un pigmento concentrato che si può usare come fondotinta, correttore, lo si può aggiungere alla crema colorata per aumentarne la coprenza senza diminuirne l'effetto luminoso e via dicendo. Ho un debole per i prodotti multi-tasking, e se questo mantiene anche solo metà delle promesse che fa potrebbe essere il prodotto salvaspazio per eccellenza.

005 Durante la mia ultima vista alla Rinascente mi sono fermata anche al counter Diptyque per annusare le loro strepitose candele ed invece mi sono innamorata perdutamente degli eau de toilette. Il processo di selezione è stato abbastanza drammatico perchè le fragranze sono tutte così particolari e favolose e mi piacevano davvero tutte. Con un po' di fatica ho ridotto la scelta a 6 EDT - sempre troppi, ma meglio di niente - e dopo una settimana passata ad annusare i cartoncini profumati che mi ha lasciato la deliziosa commessa credo di aver finalmente fatto la mia scelta. Philosykos profuma di isola greca, di fichi maturi e foglie di fico con un tocco di estate sullo sfondo. E' la fragranza best seller del marchio e non c'è da meravigliarsi, è incredibile!

Bored? Window shopping is the way...

Urban Decay 'OZ the great and powerful' Glinda palette // Hourglass Ambient lighting powder and Ambient brush // Sephora Pastel pop Color adapt blush // Clarins Ever matte shine control mineral powder compact // L'oreal Color riche caress aqua lip lacquer

001 I'm quite partial to anything inspired by the wonderful Wizard of Oz so it took me about five seconds to fall in love with this palette. I love the dreamy shades and the romantic hues, and I'm also glad UD finally dropped the mini primer potion/mini gloss thing and choose a full size Super saturated high gloss pencil to complement this palette instead, along with a mini 24/7 eyeliner. (If you're not familiar with the Super saturated glosses, I previously reviewed Lovechild here). The wicked witch version is really pretty too even if not so unique.

002 Oh I'm so excited about this release! The concept behind these powders is genius: Ambient lighting powders capture, diffuse and soften the way light is reflected on the skin, matter of factly faking the glow you get when different types of lighting hit our faces while blurring pores and imperfections. Like Photoshop in a compact form! There's one that fakes moonlight, one that looks like morning light, a powder that feigns the universal flatter of pink diffused lighting and so on and so forth. I really can't wait for them to be available in Europe and put my paws on at least one of these.

003 At first I thought all these 'I adapt to your ph' shades were a little naff, but the Dior Rosy glow blush changed my mind. Sephora recently came out with a whole collection of very promising products, the Pastel pop range, including a pink stick blush that promises a bonne mine effect unique for everyone. I haven't tried the Sephora makeup range in a while now and I'd be curious to see how it has improved during the years.

004 Clarins did it again! Inside this gorgeous gold compact there's apparently one of the best matte finishing powders on the market, infused with a skin detox technology and with a lovely velvety finish that doesn't look cakey no matter how many times you reapply during the day. I haven't heard a single bad thing about it since it was released and I'm literally itching to see if my fellow bloggers have gone to far on this.

005 Now that l'Oreal owns YSL as well, I look forward to trying their new products, especially the aqua lip lacquers inspired by the more expensive Glossy stains (review here). I've seen mixed reviews around and since I'm a big fan of the YSL formula I can't wait to try them myself.

Noia?  Le liste dei desideri sono la soluzione...

001 Adoro qualunque cosa che sia ispirato dal mago di Oz, per cui mi ci sono voluti 5 secondi netti per innamorarmi di questa palette. Amo le tonalità un po' sognanti e l'aria romantica, e sono contenta che finalmente UD abbia messo da parte i mini primer potion ed i gloss ed abbia invece deciso di completare la palette con un Super saturated high gloss full size, insieme all'immancabile mini eyeliner 24/7 color melanzana (qui avevo recensito il matitone gloss in Lovechild). Anche la versione con la strega cattiva è molto bella, ma questa è più unica.

002 Sono eccitatissima per questi prodotti! Il concetto di base è geniale: vista l'importanza di una buona illuminazione per far risaltare il makeup ed i tratti del viso, le ciprie Ambient lighting di Hourglass sono state pensate per catturare, diffondere ed ingentilire il modo in cui la luce viene riflessa dalla pelle, di fatto mimando diversi tipi di illuminazione e sfocando le imperfezioni. Come Photoshop in un portacipria! Ce n'è una che imita la luce lunare, una che richiama la luce del mattino, un'altra che riproduce un'illuminazione rosata che ingentilisce i tratti e così via. Non vedo l'ora che sbarchino in Europa per poter mettere le mani su almeno una colorazione.

003 All'inizio tutti questi colori che cambiano a seconda del ph della pelle mi sembravano un'idiozia, ma il blush Rosy glow di Dior mi ha fatto cambiare idea. Recentemente Sephora ha lanciato una collezione molto promettente, la Pastel pop, che include tra le altre cose anche un blush in stick che garantisce un effetto bonne mine personalizzato. E' da un sacco che non provo i prodotti della linea makeup di Sephora e sono curiosa di vedere com'è migliorata negli anni.

004 Un altro prodotto Clarins di cui tutti parlano: dentro questo elegantissimo compact dorato a quanto pare è contenuta una delle migliori polveri fissanti opache sul mercato, infusa con una tecnologia detossificante e dal finish vellutato che mantiene un'apparenza naturale per tutto il giorno. Non ho letto un singolo commento negativo in proposito da quando è comparsa nei negozi, ed il San Tommaso che è in me vuole scoprire se le mie colleghe blogger hanno esagerato questa volta. Potrebbe essere un buon modo per spendere il mio buono di compleanno Sephora...

005 Visto che l'Oreal ha acquisito anche YSL sarei curiosa di provare i nuovi aqua lip lacquer, ispirati dai ben più costosi Glossy stain del marchio high street (la mia review qui). Ho letto recensioni contrastanti e dato che sono una fan della formula YSL vorrei mettere i due prodotti a confronto personalmente.

001 I was absolutely sure I wasn't going to pick anything from the NARS Spring collection, but that, of course, was before Temptalia reviewed it. Le sigh. Dressed to kill (Kristine's review here) is a very pretty off-red shade with the finest gold sparkle. It's a really lovely shade, still bright but not too bold. The perfect transition shade for spring.

002 The design embossed on this powder highlighter is so beautiful: there're little lipsticks and glosses along with tiny camelias and nail polish bottles. Too cute! It looks delicate and natural on the skin and doesn't seem to be too pink or to yellow.

003 At first I was a little disappointed by the visual of the Oz the great and powerful collection by OPI. I was expecting vivid shades and bright colors, not pastels and pale polishes. But the glitter shades look quite pretty, especially When monkeys fly which looks like a mix of antique gold and holographic glitters. I can't wait for the first HD swatches!

004 I've seen a couple of pictures here and there and the sequin effect looks really amazing on the nails. I'm not sure I'll invest in the Ciaté set tho - the caviar one is quite expensive for what it is - but I'm curious to see what the cheaper brands will come out with. I'm looking at you, MUA.

005 My love for MAC Fling is still going strong but I'd like to try something new to fill in my brows. I can't wait for the upcoming Stylish brow collection by MAC: I heard many good things about the brand new brow fluidlines and the dirty blonde one seems promising. I'm also quite curious about the waterproof gels by Makeup For Ever but I struggle to find good reviews around. Have you tried them?

Con tutte le collezioni primaverili in uscita in questi giorni la mia lista dei desideri sta prendendo una brutta piega molto rapidamente. Aiuto!

001 Ero decisissima a non comprare niente della collezione primaverile di NARS, ma quello naturalmente era prima che Temptalia la recensisse. Le sigh. Dressed to kill (qui la review di Kristine) è un bellissimo rosso tenue con toni rosati e finissima iridescenza dorata. E' una tonalità stupenda, comunque brillante ma non troppo eccessiva. Il colore perfetto per la transizione tra inverno e primavera.

002 Il disegno impresso su questa polvere è una meraviglia: ci sono piccoli rossetti e lucidalabbra insieme a minuscole camelie e bottigliette di smalto. Adorabile! Sarebbe quasi un peccato utilizzarla ora che ci penso. L'illuminante sembra delicato e naturale sulla pelle e non è troppo giallo o rosa per cui dovrebbe donare molto all'incarnato.

003 A prima vista le immagini della collezione OPI ispirata al nuovo film del Mago di Oz mi hanno un po' delusa: mi aspettavo colori vividi e smalti brillanti, non colori tenui e tonalità pastello. Però i glitter sembrano molto promettenti, in particolare When monkeys fly che sembrerebbe un mix di glitter oro antico e olografici. Non vedo l'ora che comincino a spuntare fuori i primi swatches in HD!

004 Ho visto un paio di foto qua e là e l'effetto lustrino è veramente bello sulle unghie. In tutta onestà non credo che investirei nel set Ciaté - quello per la Caviar è molto costoso per quello che è, mi sembra che costi 20€ per uno smalto e le perline - ma attendo con ansia le proposte dei marchi più a buon mercato. Non vedo l'ora che sia aprile per poter provare i nuovi brow liner di MAC che usciranno con la collezione Stylish brow: fin'ora i commenti sono stati molto positivi e credo che la colorazione dirty blond potrebbe essere il colore perfetto per me. In teoria la formulazione dovrebbe essere la stessa dei Fluidline e visto che Blacktrack è il mio gel liner preferito sono molto curiosa di provarli. Però sarei anche interessata a testare la versione in tubetto di Makeup for Ever ma faccio fatica a trovare delle recensioni di questo prodotto. Lo avete provato?

001 During the last offer on the website I almost bought it, but then I browsed my collection just in time to find out that I already own Hussy. What a shame! The duo is so beautiful and convenient... Someone should really take me out of my misery and buy it for me. You heard that, Santa?

002 If this isn't the cutest pocket mirror you've ever seen, you're lying and you know it. Red felt and gingerbread man, that's it. Who doesn't need a pocket mirror specifically for the Holidays? One you can use only for about 2 months a year? I do.

003 At first I thought the shade was a no go, especially because it has a hint of shimmer but after reading some reviews with real life pictures, Notorious started to grow on me. I'm really intrigued by the idea of a grey-ish, purple-ish taupe for both cheek and eyes.

004 Raise your hand if you can't resist to travel sizes and minis! Both my hands are firmly up in the air. I have this huge soft spot for tiny products, I really can't help it.
I like the Naked basics because there's no wasted space: the packaging is very handy, with a huge mirror that covers the whole inside lid and no silly applicators in sight. Just six good quality eyeshadows and a mirror. Perfect for both eyes and eyebrows on the go.

005 The moment I heard Lisa Eldridge speak about this mask during her Beauty gift ideas video I had to have it. It's an oxygen based mask that when you put it on starts foaming on your skin and gets rid of those nasty dead skin cells in only 3 minutes. It's like the fastest facial ever! It's a little expensive tho, so I'll have to wait for some good discount codes to buy it.

001 Durante l'ultima promozione sul sito c'è mancato poco che non lo comprassi, ma poi all'ultimo minuto ho controllato la mia collezione e mi sono resa conto di avere già Hussy, mannaggia. Un vero peccato, perchè il duo è carinissimo e molto comodo e occupa poco spazio e... Qualcuno dovrebbe mettere fine alle mie sofferenze e regalarmelo. Mi hai sentitro, Babbo Natale?

002 Se questo non è lo specchietto da borsa più grazioso che abbiate mai visto, state mentendo e lo sapete. Feltro rosso ed Omino di pan di zenzero. Ho detto tutto. Chi non ha bisogno di uno specchietto fatto apposta per le Feste? Specchio che tra l'altro si può usare per più di, quanto, 2 mesi all'anno? A me serve di sicuro.

003 All'inizio vedendolo nel visual della collezione mi sono autoconvinta che la tonalità non facesse per me, soprattutto perchè ha un po' di iridescenza ed i colori per il contouring dovrebbero essere matte, ma dopo aver letto qualche review con foto dal vivo Notorious è entrato di diritto nella mia wishlist. M'intriga l'idea di una color talpa con toni viola e grigi per guance ed occhi. Quello che m'interessa sapere è: voi l'avete visto nei negozi?

004 Alzate la mano se anche voi non potete resistere ai formati da viaggio ed alle mini taglie! Io sto alzando tutte e due le mani tanto per essere chiari. Le miniature sono il mio punto debole, non posso farci niente.
Mi piace la Naked basics perchè lo spazio sprecato è praticamente inesistente: il packaging è pratico e compatto, con uno specchio grande quanto l'astuccio e non ci sono stupidi applicatori da quattro soldi in vista. Solo 6 ombretti di qualità ed un comodissimo specchio. Perfetto per occhi e sopracciglia in viaggio oppure in corsa.

005 Nel momento stesso in cui Lisa Eldridge ne ha parlato nel suo video Beauty gift ideas ho deciso che sarebbe stata mia. E' una maschera a base di ossigeno che si trasforma in schiuma sulla pelle ed elimina cellule morte e co. in soli 3 minuti. La pulizia del viso più veloce della storia. Visto che costa un po' dovrò aspettare un bel codice sconto però. Che pazienza.

One month and a half to Christmas and I'm practically bouncing off the walls! Have you started thinking about what to buy to your loved ones yet? Hating rushed gifts and last minute purchases, I already started browsing Christmas cathalogs and the gift sections of my favorite websites to find the perfect presents for everyone. And it's not like I can't stop wanting stuff for myself as well, right? Better give Santa more options, says with a serious face.

001 Burt's bees is a brand I became somewhat obsessed with over the past weeks. I didn't have the chance to go shopping for it yet, but I've been browsing the internet looking for good value sets, which are always a great way to approach a new brand, especially when you don't know what to try first. This set contains foot cream, hand cream, honey lip balm and the milk & honey body lotion I already had my eyes on. A head to toes set to give a nice try to Burt's bees' line and would also make a lovely gift for a natural skin care fiend.

002 I've never been a candle person but over the last year or so I really enjoyed them: they can make the house warmer and more personal in matter of minutes. Obviously there're many cheaper options on the market, but Diptyque candles are more of a threat because of the price tag and something I'd like to receive as a gift; after all we don't often indulge in expensive buys for ourselves. They're quite popular in the UK and after smelling them the other day at the mall I can understand why: gorgeous scents, elegant packaging and different sizes for all budgets. A candle could be a nice gift for a fragrance lover and among other things definitely less risky than buying a random perfume.

003 China Glaze knows how to do glitter polishes and there's nothing better than sparkle galore and Christmas tree shades for the Holiday season. Nail polish sets are usually very good value for money and this China Glaze set looks very festive, so it'll make the perfect Christmas gift. Or, even better, you could split the nail polishes and use them as stocking fillers: you'll be making your beauty-loving friends happy while keeping secret Santa's budget low at the same time. It's a win/win solution.

004 Usually the Body shop Christmas range is by far one of the best Holiday releases and this years' collection doesn't disappoint. Along with Vanilla bliss and Cranberry joy, TBS will release in these days the Ginger sparkle body range, with cute little Gingerbread men on the packaging and extra zingy ginger scent. The moment I saw the press release I added the whole range to my to-buy list. Can't resist to cute Gingerbread men!

Un mese e mezzo a Natale e mi sto praticamente arrampicando sui muri dall'eccitazione! Avete già iniziato a pensare ai regali per i vostri cari? Visto che odio i regali raffazzonati e lo shopping dell'ultimo minuto, ho già iniziato a sfogliare i cataloghi natalizi e la sezione regali dei miei siti preferiti per trovare il regalo perfetto per ognuno. E non è vietato cercare cose anche per me già che ci sono, giusto? Meglio fornire più opzioni a Babbo Natale, disse lei con espressione seria.

001 Negli ultimi tempi sono veramente ossessionata da Burt's bees e i loro prodotti. Non ho ancora avuto l'occasione di comprare niente, ma ho cercato su internet alcuni set, che a mio parere sono il modo migliore per accostarsi ad una nuovo marchio, soprattutto se non si sa da dove cominciare. Questo kit contiene una crema per i piedi, una per le mani, un balsamo labbra al miele e la lozione corpo al latte & miele che avevo già adocchiato in precedenza. Un set per la cura dalla testa ai piedi per testare il marchio per bene ed un regalo senz'altro molto gradito da un'appassionata di prodotti ecobio.

002 Non sono mai stata un'amante delle candele ma nell'ultimo hanno sono diventate una vera e propria passione: in pochi minuti rendono la casa più calda ed aggiungono un tocco davvero personale all'ambiente. Ovviamente esistono opzioni più economiche - Sephora propone un set da 3 per esempio -, ma le candele Diptyque sono quasi una coccola, visto il prezzo di listino, e mi piacerebbe riceverne una per Natale; dopotutto non ci concediamo molto spesso delle frivolezze così costose. Sono piuttosto popolari in Inghilterra e dopo averle annusate alLa Rinascente ho capito il perchè: profumazioni favolose, packaging elegante e diverse taglie per tutte le tasche. Una candela potrebbe essere un'opzione interessante per un'amante delle fragranze fiorite/fruttate, e non così rischiosa come l'acquisto di una bottiglia di profumo a caso.

003 China Glaze sa come si fanno gli smalti glitter e non c'è niente di meglio di un'esplosione di brillantini nei colori intonati all'albero di Natale per le feste. I set di smalti di solito sono molto convenienti e questo di China Glaze in particolare è molto festoso e sarebbe quindi il regalo perfetto per una fanatica di smalti. Oppure, ancora meglio, potreste dividere il set e distribuire gli smalti come piccoli pensierini alle amiche: più regali in un colpo solo, con un occhio al portafoglio. La soluzione perfetta!

004 Di solito la collezione di Natale di The Body shop è una delle migliori uscite natalizie in assoluto e quella di quest'anno non delude. Insieme a Vanilla bliss e Cranberry joy, TBS proporrà nei prossimi giorni la linea Ginger sparkle, con graziosi omini di pan di zenzero sulle confezioni e una briosa profumazione al ginger. Appena ho visto la cartella stampa ho aggiunto l'intera linea allo zenzero alla mia lista delle cose da comprare. Non resisto a quegli omini coi bottoni gommosi! La linea natalizia sarà disponibile dal 16 Novembre online e nei negozi, non vedo l'ora!

Christmas is coming - Whohooo! - and it's time to start dropping gift ideas here and there for family and friends. Let's throw subtle and discrete out of the window like that, why not.

001 This illuminating powder comes in the most stunning compact: it looks so heavy and expensive with the detailing on the lid so beautiful and delicate I could look at it all day. Unfortunately, while I was looking for reviews about this palette, I found out that the gold pattern on the powder is just a spray on that goes away at the first touch of a brush. What a shame.

002 I have a serious soft spot for NARS blushes: I believe for as many dupes you can find you'll never get close to the amazing velvety texture and crazy pigmentation of these powders. After lusting for months over Sin, I discovered this lovely golden apricot blush and now I want it! It reminds me of MAC Tenderling, one of my favorite blushes for this season, but Luster seems a lot more multidimensional. It's one of those blushes that go with everything and give that 'I'm not trying too hard, I just woke with amazing skin' appearence.

003 Just look at it. How pretty this Burberry palette is? It screams 'Fall!' and 'Expensive!' and 'Please, buy me!'. If you've never tried Burberry eyeshadows I strongly recommend you check them out. They have this velvety, creamy texture that feels so luxurious, and even if the shade selection may look plain and boring at first sight, there are some real jems in the permanent collection, like Pale Barley and Rosewood.

004 I'm aware that buying a product only because of its packaging it's madness, and I won't buy it, pinky promise. I'm just going to sit here and stare at the gorgeous rose gold compact with a cute little ribbon on top. Staring is free. Who knows, maybe Santa will hear my awed sighs. Just imagine pulling this compact out of your bag for a touch up and feeling like Grace Kelly for a moment. Le sigh.

005 Ok, this oil it's been out for a while now and yes, I'm a little late on this one, but isn't that the prettiest oil you've ever seen? Also so many people keep raving about it after all this time, has to be really good, right?

Manca poco al Natale - whoohoo! - ed è arrivato il momento di cominciare a lasciare indizi qua e là per parenti e amici su quello che si vorrebbe trovare sotto l'albero. Massì, lanciamo discrezione ed allusioni fuori dalla finestra ed andiamo subito al sodo.

001 Il compact che contiene questa polvere illuminante è davvero stupendo: sembra pesante e costoso, con dettagli così belli e delicati, che potrei fissare per tutto il giorno. Sfortunatamente, mentre cercavo delle recensioni, ho scoperto che il disegno filigranato della polvere non è altro che uno spray dorato che sparisce alla prima passata del pennello. Un vero peccato.

002 Ammetto di avere un debole per i blush NARS: sono convinta che per quanti dupes si possano trovare, non ci si avvicinerà nemmeno lontanamente alla texture vellutata ed alla pigmentazione di queste polveri. Dopo mesi passati a desiderare Sin, ho scoperto questo delizioso blush albicocca dorato e lo devo avere! Mi ricorda Tenderling di MAC, uno dei miei blush preferiti per questa stagione, ma Luster sembra un colore più interessante e multi dimensionale. E' uno di quei fard che vanno con tutto e conferiscono quel look da 'Non mi sto impegnando troppo, mi sono solo svegliata con una pelle fantastica 'stamattina'.

003 Guardatela. Ma quant'è bella questa palette Burberry? Grida 'Autunno!' e 'Costosa!' e 'Comprami!'. Se non avete mai provato gli ombretti Burberry vi consiglio di dar loro un'occhiata. Hanno questa fantastica consistenza vellutata e cremosa, così lussuosa, ed anche se la gamma dei colori può sembrare noiosa ad un primo sguardo, vi assicuro che nella collezione permanente ci sono delle vere e proprie gemme, come Pale Barley e Rosewood.

004 So che acquistare qualcosa per la confezione è follia allo stato puro e non lo farò, promesso - anche perchè temo che i prezzi in euro della Making pretty saranno folli -. Me ne starò qui, buona buona, a fissare con occhi sognanti il portacipria color oro rosa con fiocchetto. Sognare è gratis. Chi lo sa, forse Babbo Natale sentirà i miei sospiri. Già m'immagino a tirare fuori questo bellissimo portacipria dalla borsetta per un ritocco, sentendomi Grace Kelly. Le sigh.

005 So che quest'olio per capelli è uscito un bel po' di tempo fa e che arrivo un attimino in ritardo, ma non è l'olio più bello che abbiate mai visto? E poi dopo tutto questo tempo ne sento ancora parlare così bene, deve per forza essere straordinario, no?

After ages of slapping on my face any random moisturizer within arm's reach and a half-hearted interest for basic products to complement makeup during the last few years - as in once I found the right product I stuck to it with no interest in trying out something different -, in the last months I've been seriously obsessed with skincare products. Even with a huge french pharmacy haul on its way to me and a bunch of new products sitting on my desk and waiting to be tried, I still want to buy MORE. I thought a little online window shopping could help with the crave...

001 I've been faithful to my trusty Take the day off balm by Clinique for more than 3 years, I think, and while I still love it, I'd like to try something else. Cleansing balms aren't exacltly a common thing, so when I stumbled on this on a couple of blogs I follow, it got my attention within seconds. The price tag is a little extreme but this is what starting kits are made for.

002 REN is another of those brands I keep seing here and there but I never had a chance to try. Seems like half of their products are rose scented, which is a huge downside for me, but this mask has such a good reputation I could even ignore the sickening scent if the case. When cold weather starts to kick in I always enjoy a nice pampering face mask and the prosmise of brighter and healthier skin is always really tempting. Besides I've got a little white heads situation going on on my chin area and hopefully this will do the trick.

003 I want to start a petition to bring Origins in Italy. Right here, with this very post. In the mean time if you know of a website (not ebay) that ships within EU, please, let me know.
Anyways, this mask is another blogger favorite: clay and charcoal unclog pores and absorb environmental pollutants and 'skin breathes a sigh of relief'. Wowza. That sounds good.

004 Confession: I've never tried anything Burt's bees, except for their lemon cuticle balm, which was ages ago anyways, so it doesn't count. I was messing around the website and all those Almond milk and Honey & milk products put a serious strain on the 'add to cart' button. Hand creams are one of my favorite products to try and this one in particular looks so buttery and luxurious, like some old homemade remedies. WANT.

005 To be honest I find the whole New Zealander organic line quite intriguing, but I heard great things about this eye cream and now that the weather is getting colder, a thicker consistency may come in handy. That and the kiwi thing: kiwi seed oil sounds like a really cool ingredient.

006 My british blogger obsession is showing here: I keep reading about how amazing this parseley seed mask is and I just want to try it, ok. And the fact that Aesop is extremely hard to get hold of only makes me want it harder - been there with the Tarte amazonian clay blushes too, I'm just that dysfunctional -. I also love the whole old style apothecary packaging thing they have going on, in my head looks very british.

So, skincare recommendation anyone?

Dopo gli anni dell'adolescenza passati a spalmarmi in faccia qualunque crema mi capitasse a tiro ed un tiepido interesse per creme e cremine negli ultimi anni - nel senso che una volta trovato un prodotto che funzionasse, gli restavo fedele senza nessun interesse a provare qualcos'altro - da qualche mese sono seriamente ossessionata dai prodotti skincare. Anche con un ordine gigantesco di prodotti da parafarmacia francese in viaggio ed un bel po' di prodotti nuovi ancora da testare, ne voglio DI PIU'. Ho pensato che un po' di fantashopping potesse aiutare con la crisi d'astinenza...

001 Sono rimasta fedele al mio amato Take the day off balm di Clinique per più di 3 anni, credo, e sebbene lo ami ancora, avrei voglia di provare qualcosa di nuovo. I balsami struccanti non sono molto comuni, quindi quando sono inciampata in questo struccante di Emma Hardie in un paio di blog, sono scattata sull'attenti. Purtroppo il prezzo di listino è un po' estremo, ma questa è la ragione per cui esistono i kit prova.

002 REN è un altro di quei marchi che saltano fuori dappertutto ma che non ho mai avuto l'occasione di provare. Ad una prima occhiata sembra che metà della linea profumi di rosa, grandissimo punto a sfavore per quanto mi riguarda, ma vista la reputazione di questa maschera, se fosse il caso potrei addirittura passare sopra all'odiata profumazione. Quando comincia a fare freddo mi piace coccolarmi con una bella maschera vecchio stile e la promessa di una pelle più sana e luminosa è sempre allettante. In più da qualche tempo ho anche un piccolo problema di punti bianchi e questo prodotto in teoria dovrebbe porvi rimedio.

003 Voglio iniziare una petizione per portare Origins in Italia. E' così frustrante non poter comprare brand di qualità nemmeno online. E a proposito, se conoscete un sito (a parte eBay) che spedisce in Europa, per favore, fatemi sapere.
Tornando a noi, questa maschera è un altro prodotto molto amato dalle blogger: argilla e carbone puliscono i pori in profondità e rispuliscono la pelle da quell'orrida patina grigiastra causata dall'inquinamento ambientale, così che la pelle possa 'tirare un sospriro di sollievo'. Suona proprio bene.

004 Confessione: non ho mai provato prodotti Burt's bees, a parte il balsamo per cuticole al limone, ma è stato secoli fa, per cui non conta. Bighellonavo nel sito e tutti quei prodotti al latte di mandorla e latte e miele hanno messo a dura prova il pulsante 'aggiungi al carrello'. Le creme mani sono tra i prodotti che amo di più provare e questa in particolare sembra burrosa ed extra lusso, come un vecchio rimedio della nonna. LA VOGLIO.

005 Per dirla tutta, è l'intera linea organica del brand Neo Zelandese ad intrigarmi, ma ho sentito grandi cose a proposito di questo contorno occhi e con la stagione fredda in arrivo credo che una crema più densa potrebbe tornare utile. Questo ed il fattore kiwi: l'olio di semi di kiwi sembra un ingrediente molto in.

006 La mia preferenza per i blog britannici si vede chiaramente qui: leggo in continuazione di quanto sia straordinaria questa maschera al prezzemolo e voglio provarla, ok. Ed il fatto che Aesop sia così difficile da reperire non fa che aumentare la mia voglia - ci sono già passata con i blush amazonian clay di Tarte, lo so, sono senza speranza -. Mi piace anche questo packaging un po' vecchio stile, da farmacia di paese, che nella mia testa è very british.
