Ojon Full detox dry shampoo

I have a bit of a crush for Ojon products – their shampoos and conditioners are a true bottled miracle and are worth every penny – and for this reason I’m truly sorry to drop a bad review on this product but when something pisses me off like this shampoo did, it’s really hard to hold back.

I haven’t tried many dry shampoos – for a long time Batiste has been the only one available here – but this is easily the best on the market. It doesn’t really smell like anything, unlike the Batiste that smells like old lady to me. It absorbs all the oils and gives a lot of volume in return. Hair look absolutely clean and healthy, there’s no hint of the dry, powdery look that you can get with some dry shampoos. And cherry on top, my hair looked pretty good the day after and I didn’t have to wash it right away. The powder isn’t clear but doesn’t leave any residue on the hair.

Now, here comes the downside. The packaging is the silliest thing. It clogged after one use. Yes, one. And given the price tag it’s an unacceptable fault. This 83ml bottle cost me 12€/9£ - ouch! - while the full size costs 20€/18£.
I read some reviews online after my purchase and it looks like a good 30% of bottles, both mini and full size, clogs irreversibly. I tried with a needle and warm water but nothing happened. The recommendation I can give in case you want to try it anyways is to shake the hell out of it before use, like for a good minute - even two if you're patient enough - but until Ojon won't fix this issue, no repurchase for me. Such a shame.

Ho una cotta di proporzioni epiche per i prodotti Ojon - i loro trattamenti, che potete acquistare su QVC, sono un vero e proprio miracolo in bottiglia e valgono ogni centesimo - e per questo motivo un po' mi spiace dare un pollice verso a questo shampoo ma sono così irritata che è difficile trattenersi.

Non ho provato tantissimi prodotti di questo tipo - fino a qualche tempo fa l'unico facilmente reperibile qui in Italia era il Batiste verde -, ma questo è probabilmente il migliore shampoo secco sul mercato. Non profuma praticamente di niente, al contrario del Batiste che per me sa di vecchietta. Assorbe tutti gli oli e dona molto volume, senza opacizzare troppo il capello. I capelli appaiono puliti e sani, senza quell'effetto secco ed un po' polveroso che si ottiene con alcuni shampoo in polvere. E, ciliegina sulla torta, i miei capelli il giorno seguente avevano ancora un ottimo aspetto e non ho dovuto lavarli immediatamente. La polvere è biancastra ma non lascia residui sul capello.

Ora, ecco il lato negativo. Il packaging è tremendo: lo spray si è intasato dopo un solo utilizzo. Un solo uso. E considerando il prezzo dello shampoo, si tratta di un difetto inaccettabile. Questo spray da 83ml mi è costato 12€ - ahia! -, mentre il full size da 185ml costa 20€.
Dopo l'acquisto ho fatto qualche ricerca e pare che circa il 30% delle bottiglie si blocchi in modo irreparabile. Ho provato con un ago e con acqua calda ma niente sembra funzionare. In caso vogliate provarlo in ogni caso, vi consiglio di agitare la bottiglia come se non ci fosse un domani - per un minuto o anche due se avete pazienza -, ma finchè Ojon non sistemerà il problema non riacquisterò questo shampoo secco. Un vero peccato.
